So then, what is The GVC?

The GVC (Gvalley Corps) is an ever-expanding international organization whose operatives are dedicated, on one level or another, to assisting founder and GVC Tin Dictator G. B. in his efforts towards world domination. Currently we have operatives working on our behalf in Israel, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Italy, The United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Japan. There are quite a few operatives who are, for the time being, unaware of their status as GVC members. Good.

As a precautionary measure, due to the aforementioned objective of the corps and to avoid being classified as a terrorist organization by some lunatic with no sense of humor and not enough real problems to deal with, the GVC shall, for now and until we are in a position to overthrow the cabal of bearded bastards (the CBB, our faceless sworn enemy currently in charge of the planet), officially remain a completely fictional entity, however corporeal its existence, activities and repercussions thereof might be; if and when interrogated about it by men in any sort of uniform, please dismiss it as nothing more than a very silly joke indeed.

Much like CBB equivalents like the CIA, Mossad, the Electric Company and The Beatles, GVC’s is a life-long membership. As our leader likes to quip: ‘once a GVC, always a GVC’.

If you wish to apply for membership in the GVC, all you need to do is be a GVC member. 

As a full-fledged member of the GVC, it is your prerogative to share any and all parts of GVC communications, in any form, with whomever you see fit to do so and for whatever purpose. Illumination must spread. However, if asked, it should be made clear to non-operatives that being subjected to GVC propaganda communications does not, in any way, entitle them to actual GVC membership status. If you want someone in who is not in, form your own organization.

GVC Playlist 001 (2011-09)

There's really not much to say about the GVC playlists per se, so instead I'll babble on a bit about myself, music, compilations etc. From playlist to playlist, the "story" (such as it is) will develop, and you can read it by going to the Playlist tag on the right. Or not.

I've ALWAYS loved making compilations. Perhaps initially they were a a way of "owning", or rather maybe appropriating, music. Back in Junior High, I got invited to cool parties because people noticed at a certain point that I was the one with all the music - - as I was diligently taping all the biggest hits, and beyond, anywhere I could get them. More on this later. God knows it wasn't because I was actually popular... praise the lord.

The GVC (More on this later as well) Playlists are something I started doing recently. Basically, they are simply tracks that catch my attention over a given period - new stuff (to me, of course), old stuff rediscovered with new ears, old favorites... there's no real methodology here rather than I hear it and think "huh, this is cool". Whenever enough tracks are gathered in their little folder, I simply arrange them into a new Playlist. (More on this later, too).
 

I thoroughly enjoy this process.
 

The Playlists are, by the way, meticulously tagged. Every track includes its original release year and, in the 'comments' section of the tag, the album from which it was taken. That's me, "Anal Angus".
